The Kaukanen wind park is located in Kannus, some 10 kilometres northeast of the town of Kannus.
Kaukanen consists of eight Vestas V162 wind turbines with a total capacity of 45 MW.
The construction and erection of the wind park was completed in October 2022, and the wind park was taken into commercial use in February 2023.
The Kaukanen wind park is run by Tuulikaarron Voima Oy.
