The Hankila wind park is located in the border area between Haapavesi and Kärsämäki, circa 25 kilometres south of the town of Haapavesi.
The wind park consists of eight Vestas V162 wind turbines with a total capacity of 45 MW.
Commercial electricity production at Hankila wind park was launched in June 2022.
